Tach Luggage,
I like my new luggage. The only reason I bought Tach Luggage is because they can marry into each other what a great idea. I'm the one that handles all the luggage mostly. I can move them all with one hand. I don't have to get a cart to move all we carry.
I bought the soft side luggage, and I wish it was more like the hard side in several ways:
First, it is the locks. There isn't any on the soft side, nor do they come with the soft side set. I like the hard side and how the locks are set right on top and easy to get at. You can tell at a glance if it is lock or not. Soft side zipper could be anywhere locked or not. On the hard side where they sit on top the handle also protect the locks some from luggage handlers.
Second, I like the wheels on the hard side. Soft side are single wheels which rolls OK, but I think the hard side moves better in the videos I seen.
Third, I love the front pouches on the soft sides which the hard side doesn't have. If I have something in my hand that needs a quick home, there is a pouch right here. Two in fact. I have seen hard side suitcases that the top would open like a flap to store items in. I would like to see that incorporate in the hard side design.
Forth, the soft side are lighter weight than the hard side, which I like.
Lastly, I have carryon duffle bags that has a big beltloop in the back. That beltloop slides over the handles to lock in place so it won't fall off. If I'm taking one suitcase, I don't have to worry that it will fall off. My duffle has 4 zippers/pouches. Two on each side, one in front, and a big compartment in the middle. I love it. They are from 3 suitcases ago around 40 years old, and I still use them today because I have never found a replacement like them. I like to see those in the same material and color as the soft side suitcase, so they match. People would know that they go together. On the hard side suitcase that carryon could be like a briefcase with a large handle to slide over the suitcase handles if you want to keep the hard side look.
The one thing I don't like, and here is why only 4 starts. In the picture in your ad the color looks' brighter/lighter. I picked blue, but it is navy blue almost black. I want to see my suitcase a mile away not blending in with all the other dark color's suitcases. I wanted the hard side just for the colors they had and how they show up/stand out but went with the soft side because of the front pouches and lighter weight.
One more thing more. It is about me and people like me. I'm Tall 6'4." The leash could be a little longer. It works, but the suitcase is closer to me then shorter people. It doesn't drag back like on other people. The suitcase is on top of me. I sometimes clip my heal on the suitcase tripping some. Just wanted you to know.
Thank-you,
Wayne
